See below for a chart that outlines how the two tools compare. However, there are important differences in feature availability and functionality between mFile and Cyberduck. It’s fast and stable.ITS will be permanently shutting down mFile and recommending that users use Cyberduck, an SFTP client, to access their files in AFS instead. ![]() However, for my general syncing between NAS, seed box, DC server, Windows PC & laptop I settled on Syncthing. However, unlike WinSCP, Cyberduck does not. It’s not very fast and it doesn’t sync different profiles at the same time. Cyberduck has a more attractive and intuitive interface than WinSCP. ![]() GoodSync is stable, works on both platforms (even Linux), covers a lot of different storage platforms, is relatively easy to figure out and has been doing its stuff in the background without any issues at all. Didn’t finish testing, but it has been running for a couple of weeks without any specific issues. YMMV though.įreeFileSync is probably good, I just find the user experience terrible. Overall I t works ok, I just can’t trust it when throwing a lot of data at it. Sometimes it would sync files that haven’t changed for a while generating a lot of traffic. plus FTP and SFTP and WebDAV support are there too. It has support for different cloud storage services such as OpenStack Swift, Backblaze B2, Microsoft Azure & OneDrive, Google Drive, and Dropbox. I had issues with syncing not picking up changes, the app freezing without any warning, messing up files when they change on both sides and not picking up the network connection when it goes down and up again. Again another free and open source but good Expandrive alternative cloud client i.e Cyberduck. If it’s not install and forget I take it off my list. While both work well with Cryptomator (they recognize a Cryptomator vault and mount it automatically) I had too many patty issues which made it less than interesting for me. It’s a software to access different types of storage.
